Renewal of the Playhouse Village Property-based Business Improvement District (PBID)

On July 12, 2021, the City of Pasadena approved the renewal of the Playhouse Village PBID after a vote by the property owners in favor of renewal. Beginning in January 2022, assessment funds will allow essential services to continue and for exciting new efforts outlined below to begin. The renewed PBID ensures funding through 2027 so the PVA can continue serving as a collective voice for thousands of stakeholders, creating a unified vision for the future, and implementing plans and projects for mutual – and public – benefit.

As we emerge from the impacts of the pandemic, the new PBID term will allow us to continue providing our critical services such as daily Ambassador Guides, street beautification, business recruitment, and promotions and marketing efforts to all Playhouse Village stakeholders.
