Watch the Rose Parade in Playhouse Village
For millions of people around the world, the Rose Parade is an iconic New Year’s Day tradition. The 134th annual Rose Parade and Rose Bowl game will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, due to the tradition of never holding the parade on a Sunday. From reserved seating and viewing parties to curbside camping, pick your favorite way to watch the decorated floats, equestrian units, and bands traveling down Colorado Boulevard through Playhouse Village.

Curbside Camping | FREE
Curbside viewing is also available on a first-come, first-served basis! Pasadena city ordinance allows the occupancy of curbside space along the parade route beginning at noon on the day before the parade. All persons and property, such as blankets, chairs and personal items, must remain on the curb until 11 PM. At that time, spectators may move out to the blue “Honor Line” but not past it. For more tips and rules about curbside viewing, visit the Pasadena Convention and Visitors Bureau website and review the Rose Parade Spectator Guide.
