See a sneak preview of Pasadena Playhouse’s Holiday Spectacular with musical performances from Pasadena Conservatory of Music from both student and faculty groups. The 79th Annual Candlelight & Carols concert at Pasadena Presbyterian Church (PPC) is a free “Pasadena Holiday Tradition for the Whole Family” and a perfect kickoff for your Christmas season. Five singing choirs, a handbell choir and a professional orchestra offer sacred and secular music of the season, and everyone gets to sing Christmas carols with the orchestra and PPC’s noteworthy pipe organ.

Holiday Music at Vroman’s Bookstore kicks off on December 9 with a performance by Coras. On December 10, Vroman’s Paseo will be filled with music from The Dulcet Singer and Resound Ringers Youth Handbells. The Dulcet Singers are an acapella group whose repertoire includes an eclectic mix of early music, jazz, gospel, and holiday favorites. Resound Ringers is a full size handbell choir at Pasadena’s First United Methodist Church. On December 16, join Vroman’s as they celebrate the holidays with the Pasadena Conservatory of Music (PCM). PCM faculty member Maira Solis and her group Mariachi Tierra Mia perform mariachi classics, as well as other festive tunes.
