Vroman’s: Stress Less, Achieve More with Mindfulness with Elizabeth Prather

With the challenges in our world, you may be finding it difficult to stay calm and focused, much less finding joy in your day. Yet, even in uncertain times, you mind does not have to be consumed with stress, negative thinking, and overwhelm.

In this hour-long virtual session, you’ll learn mental strategies, mindful tips, and a mindfulness meditation practice that will help you respond more calmly and effectively to outer stressors while cultivating joy and peace of mind. Mindfulness helps us manage our emotions so that our relationships improve – both at work and at home.

The session includes:

·       Understanding mindfulness and how it reduces stress

·       How mindfulness helps increase focus and manage our emotions

·       Instructions on a mindfulness meditation practice that can be practiced in only a few minutes a day

·       Mindful tips to use immediately in daily life for more joy, balance, and fulfillment.

A growing body of research shows that mindfulness practice can transform our lives as individuals, impacting us both personally and professionally.

The benefits of mindfulness practice include increases in focus and concentration, improved communication, increased resilience, better sleep, and life satisfaction as well as reduced feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression.

This class will take place over Zoom with Elizabeth Prather. Zoom links will be sent to those who sign up, 48 hours before the class.

Elizabeth Prather is a Mindfulness Mentor and Consultant who brings together ancient wisdom, neuroscience, and positive psychology to help people thrive and grow in their work and personal lives. After twenty years of corporate leadership experience, including as Vice President in a healthcare management company, Elizabeth found herself burned out. She discovered meditation and began immersing herself in meditation training and retreats. Now, she helps people find more calm, focus, joy, and fulfillment in their lives through transformational mindful strategies and tools. In addition, she offers mindfulness programs in organizations to help improve performance and well-being.
