October 11th is the International Day of the Girl, but – rebels that we are – Vroman’s Bookstore is going to celebrate a few days early!
Vroman’s is collaborating with REBEL GIRLS: “a global empowerment brand dedicated to raising the most inspired and confident generation of girls,” to create a FREE event that will include FUN CRAFTS that will showcase their creativity, INSPIRING ACTIVITIES designed just for girls, and STORYTELLING!
As of this writing, we’re still working out the details, but attendees of a previous Rebel Girls: International Day of the Girl celebration received an I Am a Changemaker goodie bag with stickers, pins, temporary tattoos, and more! Follow us for updates; we’re hoping to offer something similar this year.
