SCCM: RAMADAN STORY & CRAFT

March 30 @ 10:30 am

In-Person Event Free with Admission
Celebrate Ramadan

Did you know that Ramadan is celebrated by about a quarter of the world’s population? Observed by followers of Islam, this four-week period is a time of peace, fasting, introspection, doing good deeds and spending time with family and friends. Southern California Children’s Museum is excited to host author Natasha Khan Kazi for a special Story & Craft in honor of Ramadan! Learn about this special holiday, what some of her family traditions are, and enjoy a read-aloud of Moon’s Ramadan! Then, stay for some messy art and crafts to take home!
WHEN: Saturday, March 30, 10:30 AM

Activities are *FREE* with admission! A limited number of books will be available for purchase day-of. You can also bring your own copy of Moon’s Ramadan to get signed! Book is available for pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BookShop or Target. A book purchase is optional and not required for participation in the author event.
