Since 1995, the California Garden & Landscape History Society (CGLHS) has promoted the preservation and restoration of California’s historic landscapes and gardens. Its quarterly journal, Eden, highlights the exceptional work of the female landscape architects that worked in and around Pasadena including Beatrix Farrand, Helen Dupuy Van Pelt, Katherine Bashford, Ruth Shellhorn, Florence Yoch & Lucile Council, and Lucia Fox Edwards. Join us for this special presentation by a CGLHS Board Member on their impressive Eden archive, and the lasting legacy of these pioneer landscape architects.
This is a hybrid presentation and will be available both in-person and via Zoom. The in-person lecture will take place at the historic Blinn House. A recording of the lecture will be shared with all event attendees.
