FUMC: Earth Day
Pasadena, CA, April 19 at 11:30 a.m. on the Colorado Patio of FUMC Pasadena (500 E. Colorado Blvd.) First United Methodist Church invites the community to join us on Sunday, April 19, as we celebrate Earth Day! This year’s theme, “The Canopy of Creation,” celebrates the many diverse ways we can be good stewards of the planet. This fun event includes information on sustainability practices, children’s activities, plant–based bites, and exhibitors, including My Zero Waste Store, Sierra Club, LA County Youth Climate Commission, Pasadena 100, Altadena Green, and more! They will also have our popular Blessing of the Animals. Bring your well–behaved pet to receive a blessing and a certificate. Photos can also be blessed for pets who can’t join in person. The event will be on our Colorado Patio after worship.
There is free parking in our parking lot on 499 E. Green Street.
