Trey, a Black teenage boy and Marvin, his father, move to an all grey town for a fresh start after a mysterious, traumatic event forces Trey to stop speaking. They soon befriend married couple Blake and Greg, but their happiness is short-lived.
As the color green begins terrorizing the town, the people of Greytown discover that what’s inside of you will always come out.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Somebody Jones (she/her/hers) received her master’s in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths University of London. She received her bachelor’s in Theatre from the University of Southern California and also studied theatre at La Sorbonne in Paris. Her work has been produced by Company of Angels, Son of Semele, and the Hope Theatre in London. Jones’s material is usually dark in nature, blending the genres of magical realism and horror to explore social issues, while celebrating Black culture. The name Somebody Jones means that the more you run from your past, the more you’ll run straight into it.
