Second Saturdays Jazz Night has been a beloved Playhouse Village tradition, originally hosted at Lyd & Mo Photography before finding a new home at Archetype Yoga. Each month, the community comes together for an intimate and vibrant jazz experience featuring talented local artists. Pasadena native Jason Luckett, passionate about music and storytelling, shares the legacies of jazz-folk heroes like Sonny Rollins while paying tribute to the iconic photo A Great Day in Harlem with tunes like A Photo of Sonny Rollins.

Pasadena Heritage kicks off its new Living Room Concerts series in front of the Wisteria Fireplace with a special performance for Black History Month. This special concert features Brother Yusef, known as the King of Organic, Deep-Fried Fatback Blues. A celebrated blues musician and Altadena resident, Brother Yusef brings a rich, soulful sound deeply rooted in blues tradition. Brother Yusef is an Altadena resident whose family lost their home in the Eaton fire. Come and support an amazing artist steeped in Altadena, a San Gabriel Valley Heritage treasure. Famed Black comedian D.L. Hughley brings a one-of-a-kind residency to The Ice House Comedy Club. As one of the Original Kings of Comedy, he uses humor to highlight social issues, challenge perspectives, and celebrate Black culture. His weekly show, “Wednesdays at the DL with D.L.
