Vroman’s Summer Reading Program: End of Summer Celebration
Join Vroman’s Bookstore in the event space on August 6th at 11am for our last summer reading event of the season, featuring special guest Heidi Moreno! Heidi will be reading from her new release, But I’m a Pumpkin!: A Summerween Story, and leading us in some fun arts and crafts!
Heidi Moreno is a scary-cute enthusiast and a children’s book illustrator. She illustrated the recently published But I’m a Pumpkin!: A Summerween Story written by Kat Choppy, So Many Questions: Abuela Becomes a US Citizen by Belen Medina as well as the part graphic novel The Chismosas Only Book Club by Laekan Zea Kemp.
Be sure to stop by the Kid’s Info Desk from 11am-2pm to collect your prizes, including free books and other rewards! If you are not able to make it in on this day, we will continue to hand out prizes in the department while supplies last.
