USC Pacific Asia Museum invites the community to celebrate the Year of the Snake at its annual Lunar New Year festival, a day filled with healing, joy, and hope. Guests will experience captivating performances, engaging storytelling, festive craft-making, and a variety of delicious treats from local food trucks. Enjoy a soothing cup of tea provided by Altadena’s Callisto Tea House and add your wish to the museum’s courtyard wishing tree.
In support of the Pasadena Unified School District’s recovery efforts for schools and students impacted by the Eaton fires, the festival will host a donation drive for new art supplies and gift cards to aid in rebuilding efforts.
Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to explore Cai Guo-Qiang: A Material Odyssey, a special exhibition that is part of Getty’s PST LA: Art+Science Collide, showcasing explosive and thought-provoking works of art.
This all-ages event is free and includes complimentary admission to the museum!
