Harambee friends! That’s Swahili for “let’s pull together.” It’s pronounced “hah-RAHM-beh” and is chanted seven times during Kwanzaa while lighting the kinara, or the candelabra, used on this holiday. Kwanzaa takes place this year from December 26-January 1st. SCCM is celebrating a bit early with our friend Ina the Sunshine Storyteller on Monday December 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Join SCCM for an energetic, interactive storytelling exploration into the meaning of Kwanzaa followed by an art activity.
