Art and DIY Cooking Fun for the Weekend
At last, the weekend is here! Gather the kiddos or your favorite housemates for some arts, crafts and cooking fun. We’ve rounded up a few activity ideas guaranteed for a creative time together, brought to you by some of your favorite Playhouse Village organizations and eateries.
Get Artsy
Our Village organizations and neighbors have crafted up some artistic activities for the whole family to enjoy. With their PlayAtHome Kit, learn about the Pasadena Playhouse and color characters from their recent season. Add your own coloring styles to some of Pasadena’s iconic art paintings, sculpture, and murals with the Pasadena Convention and Visitor’s Bureau’s coloring book. Make a friendly contest out of Drawn2Art Pasadena’s weekly challenges or enjoy story inspired crafts from Southern California Children’s Museum, as found on their Instagram.
Get Cooking
There is no better fun than to make and eat your very own creations. A few of our Village eateries have developed and are offering DIY kits to create your own versions of favorite dishes at home. Take your shot at building the best pizza pie with Blaze Pizza’s DIY Pizza Kit (it is so much fun watching the dough-rise!)
