SCCM: You’ve Got This: Navigating Starting School
Southern California Children’s Museum invites families this April to You’ve Got This: Navigating Starting School, a three-part parent learning series presented in partnership with Pasadena Education Network and author and parent coach Gia Gambaro Blount. Held on Thursday evenings, the series offers practical guidance and a supportive space for families to ask questions, connect, and prepare for this important milestone.
Together, participants will explore the differences between TK and PreK, how to choose a school that reflects their family’s values, and how to navigate the Pasadena Unified enrollment process.
Families are encouraged to bring their questions—and even dinner. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and children are welcome to enjoy playtime in the museum during the workshop.
Attend one session or all three and connect with a community of families navigating this next chapter together.
