These are dedicated play hours when we welcome families and children with developmental differences. Play for All Abilities means we stand true to our values of access and inclusion.  \nDuring Play for All Abilities hours\, we adjust our space and programs to provide: \n\nLess crowded space\nQuiet atmosphere with limited stimuli (low lights\, no music\, no microphone)\nProvide space for families to build community and children to make friends\nSensory backpacks\, which include noise-cancelling headphones and sensory toys*\nVisual guide\nNonverbal communication cards\n\nRegular admission applies. Play passes may be used for this event. \nCan’t make it during Play for All Abilities hours? Our sensory backpacks are available any day of the week as a free daily rental\, ask a staff member at check-in!

DESCRIPTION:The Southern California Children’s Museum will host a fun and engaging oral health event presented by Therm and the Foundation of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society\, designed for young children and their families. The educational program features a dental-themed story time\, a Q&A session with local pediatric dentist Dr. Soo Song\, and hands-on oral hygiene activities including tooth brushing and flossing demonstrations\, along with interactive oral health education. \nChildren who sign up for a dental screening upon arrival will be seen by dentists as their names are called throughout the event. \nThe event is free with admission\, and the Foundation of the SGVDS will sponsor the first 20 participants who arrive at the museum and register. \nEvent Schedule• 10:00–10:45 AM – Dental-themed story time and Q&A with Dr. Soo Song\, pediatric dentist• 10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Ongoing activity stations for tooth brushing\, flossing\, oral health education\, and screenings for registered children\, with dentists and volunteers available to assist and answer questions \nThe Foundation of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (FSGVDS) is the charitable arm of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society\, a component of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
