Once again, all of Pasadena Presbyterian Church’s resident choirs collaborate on this annual “Pasadena Holiday Tradition for the Whole Family,” offering fresh performances of familiar Christmas music, as well as newly-composed pieces. Serving as a thrilling kickoff to the Christmas season for many, this year’s program features sacred and secular music composed or arranged by Dan Forrest, Elaine Hagenberg, John Rutter, Sarah Quartel, Calvin Taylor, and Joel Raney, among others. Southern California Children’s Museum’s annual Rose Parade viewing party is back! Curbside Camping (FREE)

Curbside viewing is also available on a first-come, first-served basis! Pasadena city ordinance allows the occupancy of curbside space along the parade route beginning at noon on the day before the parade. All persons and property, such as blankets, chairs, and personal items, must remain on the curb until 11 PM. At that time, spectators may move out to the blue “Honor Line” but not past it. Helix Collective’s delightful live musical story time event for ages 3-7 features Giggle, Giggle, Quack (the second book in the Click Clack Moo series by Doreen Cronin with illustrations by Betsy Lewin). The book is set to original music by Helix Collective resident composer, Phil Popham, and narrated by Broadway and T.V. actress Rena Strober. Come meet musicians, explore instruments, and hear Giggle, Giggle, Quack come to life!
