]]> Free 2nd Sunday at USC PAM! Join them in celebrating Hinamatsuri, or Japanese Girls’ Day! Learn the art of ikebana, make origami Hina dolls and ornaments, see a traditional doll display, and listen to stories inspired by this lively springtime holiday.

This event is for all ages and admission is free all day!

*Space is limited for the Ikebana workshops. Sign-ups are available on a first-come-first-served basis at the information table

11:00am – 2:00pm – Altadena Mobile Library

11:00am – 3:00pm – Tsurushi-bina ornament making

11:30am – Ikebana Workshop (session 1)

12:00pm – Spotlight Talk – Hina Dolls

1:00pm – Storytime

1:30pm –  Ikebana Workshop (session 2)

3:00pm – Spotlight Talk – Hina Dolls

About Ikebana Instructor:

Valeria Brinkers is a senior Master of Ikebana, former President of the Ikebana International Los Angeles, and founder of the Ikebana Lessons Group.
