January 25 — January 31 

One hundred years ago, teenage Lionel Clark Sternberger placed a piece of cheese on a hamburger, christening it the Aristocratic Burger at the Rite Spot in Pasadena, CA. Fast forward to the present day, and restaurants throughout Pasadena pay homage to Lionel Sternberger’s genius with Cheeseburger Week, presented by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. This year, El Portal, The Stand, Urth Caffe, Tardinos Bros. Italian Kitchen and Yahaira’s Cafe are participating businesses located in Playhouse Village.

On Saturday, December 6, the Apprentice Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Chorale will perform at First United Methodist Church, delivering an inspiring matinee of festive music. The celebration continues on Sunday, December 7, at Pasadena Presbyterian Church, where the Intermediate Choir, Concert Choir, and Young Men’s Ensemble will delight audiences with their captivating melodies.
