While you enjoy the music on your picnic blanket\, indulge in delicious taco plates and more from Anaya’s Restaurant\, or bring a picnic from your favorite local restaurant. \nFeatured Artists \nLittle Brazil – Little Brazil was born with the idea of revisiting the defining moments of Brazilian music from a contemporary perspective. Samba\, Choro\, Baião and Bossa Nova are addressed in an acoustic set with vocal\, nylon guitar\, drums and percussion led by the Brazilian musicians Natália Spadini and Marcelo Bucater. The arrangements are well crafted and modern\, all played by Brazilian musicians who live in Pasadena\, what makes the music stay true to its Brazilian identity. \n  \n  \n  \n

He is the acclaimed author of Transcending Trauma\, upcoming memoir\, To Be Loved: A Story of Truth\, Trauma\, and Transformation\, and the coauthor of Internal Family Systems Skills Training Manual. As a global speaker on the treatment of trauma and dissociation\, he is passionate about teaching brain-based psychotherapy and integrating current neuroscience knowledge with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of therapy. Cupid\, under the respective usernames “Hogbook” and “Lazer Eyes.” They went on a date\, and then another\, and soon\, despite a history of Bipolar II disorder and unhealthy relationships for each of them\, they fall in love and are married in 2015. We view all of this through the prism of their pug housemates\, including Blueberry and Bert (who has an unnatural obsession with Michael Flatley of “Riverdance” fame)\, and the elderly bonded pair Betty and Arnold (who recount their star turn as interplanetary canine scientists in the second season of Lady Dynamite). \nCassidy’s fine art training translates with ease into graphic storytelling\, with a naturalistic illustrative style that is a pitch-perfect match Bamford’s comic timing\, making Hogbook and Lazer Eyes a beautifully illustrated love story\, told by some incredibly charming pugs.

Inspired by real accounts of displaced people- all personally researched and documented by Abid- the exhibition hints at untold tragedies surrounding the collateral victims of persecution\, political conflicts\, ethnic cleansing\, and natural disasters\, a disproportionate number of whom are women and girls.
