Held on Thursday evenings\, the series offers practical guidance and a supportive space for families to ask questions\, connect\, and prepare for this important milestone. \nTogether\, participants will explore the differences between TK and PreK\, how to choose a school that reflects their family’s values\, and how to navigate the Pasadena Unified enrollment process. \nFamilies are encouraged to bring their questions—and even dinner. Doors open at 5:30 PM\, and children are welcome to enjoy playtime in the museum during the workshop. \nAttend one session or all three and connect with a community of families navigating this next chapter together.

DESCRIPTION:We welcome children and families of all abilities. Play for All Abilities hours take place the last Thursday of every month from 12:00-3:00 PM. These are dedicated play hours when we welcome families and children with developmental differences. Play for All Abilities means we stand true to our values of access and inclusion.  \nDuring Play for All Abilities hours\, we adjust our space and programs to provide: \n\nLess crowded space\nQuiet atmosphere with limited stimuli (low lights\, no music\, no microphone)\nProvide space for families to build community and children to make friends\nSensory backpacks\, which include noise-cancelling headphones and sensory toys*\nVisual guide\nNonverbal communication cards\n\nRegular admission applies. Play passes may be used for this event. \nCan’t make it during Play for All Abilities hours? Our sensory backpacks are available any day of the week as a free daily rental\, ask a staff member at check-in!
